How do I find out what’s on offer?

Details of participating venues, as well as food and drink offers, will typically be published on our website two weeks in advance of the event start date. Once available, click the OFFERS tab in the header to explore what's on offer.

In the OFFERS page you can use the dropdown menus at the top of the page to filter results by CATEGORY, DAY OF THE WEEK and PRICE.

Click on an icon from the results list to open up a venue profile. Within you will find all food and drink offers provided by that venue, as well as other useful information such as address, phone number, website and social media links.

 

How do I download offer vouchers?

Once you’ve found an offer you want, click the SELECT THIS OFFER button. Then when prompted, enter the number of people in your party who want to access it and click ADD TO BASKET.

You can add multiple offers to your BASKET at a time. Click the CART icon in the top right hand corner of the page to see everything in your BASKET. Once you’ve finished, click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT and fill in the short form with your name, postcode and email address.

Click PLACE ORDER and an email will be sent direct to your inbox for each of your offers with a voucher attached as a PDF document. All vouchers are free to download and there is no restriction on the number you can access.

 

How do I redeem my voucher?

Take your voucher along with you to the venue of your choosing and show it to a member of staff on your arrival, either on your phone or a printed copy. You should have specified the number of people in your party wanting to access each in individual offer when you downloaded your vouchers. This number is printed on your voucher as well as your name and the terms of the offer.

Please bear in mind that some venues (restaurants in particular) may require you to book, especially if you’re in a party of 4 or more. It is advised that you ring ahead to book a table.

 

Are there are any terms and conditions I should be aware of?

Most offers have some related terms and conditions. These will likely relate to the dates/times when the offer can be redeem the offer, and what menu items are included as part of the offer.

Make sure you check the TERMS related to your chosen offer before you dine, these can be found on the front of your VOUCHER as well as the customer’s name and number of people for which the voucher is redeemable.

All York Restaurant Week vouchers are valid only during the specified dates of the event.

 

Can I make an personal account on the website?

Yes, either click MY ACCOUNT in the top right hand corner of the page and register using your email address, or tick the box labelled CREATE AN ACCOUNT? at the CHECKOUT before placing your order. Once you’ve created an account, your details will be saved and will auto fill at the checkout. You will also be able to view your past voucher downloads by going to MY ACCOUNT>ORDERS

 

How do I find out about disabled access to a venue or if a venue can accommodate for my dietary requirements/allergies?

All of the venues participating in York Restaurant Week have their phone numbers, website and  links to social media published in their profile pages. Please contact a specific venue directly to enquire if they can accommodate for your access needs and/or dietary requirements/allergies.

 

Can I download a voucher if I am under 18?

There is no age restriction on voucher downloads, however, if your chosen offer contains alcoholic drinks or products, the venue may require you to provide proof that you are legally old enough to purchase these items.

 

Can I bring my children?

Children are welcome at York Restaurant Week! Some venues, (especially pubs) may have restrictions on when children are allowed in the venue, so please contact the venue directly in advance to check if you are unsure.
