Beautifully appointed 3-screen cinema playing the best mainstream, world, classic and indie cinema, alongside live streamed theatre, opera, ballet and one-off concerts. An integral part of York’s art scene, hosting local art exhibitions, showcasing live arts in the basement, and delivering the delicious and interesting food in our Riverside Café-Bar.

The chefs create unforgettable and adventurous dishes with influences from around the globe in the perfect place to unwind, with the glorious outdoor terrace overlooking the river – one of the best places in York to take in the views.
